After graduating with a degree in classical guitar, Matt initially entered the film world as a dialogue mixer and sound designer. Soon he transitioned to production sound where he gained experience on a wide range of shoots from small interviews to million dollar productions like House of Cards.

His notable documentary work includes being embedded with the ICIJ during the acquisition and release of the Paradise Papers as well as extensive work in Baltimore documenting riots, police corruption, and the rebuilding of a damaged city.

Living in DC has allowed him to work with a range of influencers (including Nobel Prize recipients, presidents, and prime ministers) across a diverse set of mediums covering Smithsonian exhibits, interactive public art displays, video games, as well as countless films, documentaries, and TV programming.
